We are delighted to announce Semiha “Sem” Wright as our Volunteer of the Month for June! 🎉

Semiha has been a cornerstone of our Mario’s Midweek Munchies, consistently demonstrating her graciousness and dedication. Week after week, her always-smiling presence brings joy to everyone around her, making our community feel warm and welcoming.

“Having Sem come early to help set up and make the sandwiches really allows me to focus on the gaming aspect of the event,” says Center Operations Specialist Zekee. “Our event definitely wouldn’t be as successful without her.”

Semiha’s bilingual abilities have also been invaluable in helping our Turkish guests feel at home. Her kindness and helpfulness have ensured smooth communication and understanding, significantly enhancing their experience with us.

Earlier this year, Semiha played a crucial role in organizing a major storage room cleanup, coordinating several volunteers to help streamline our operations. Her leadership and commitment have been instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our initiatives.
