75th Anniversay D Day

The USO Europe Expeditionary Team was on site for the Cabbage Patch Drop in Carentan. HQ USAREUR-USO commemorative coins were given to several U.S. military veterans, to include two service members of ODA 595, the first soldiers sent into Afghanistan following 9/11 (Horse Soldiers), as well as Harry Xenitelis, the uncle of our very own USO Rhein Main Area’s Operations Manager, Ashley Grassl. The drop was also marked by the jump of Tom Rice, a 97-year old WWII vet who recreated his very own D-Day parachute drop. #BeTheForce #DDAY75
