November 2024 Volunteer of the Month - Jaclyn Schultz

This month, we’re celebrating the amazing Jaclyn Schultz for her incredible dedication to the USO mission. With over 500 volunteer hours, Jaclyn has consistently gone above and beyond to support our programs, events, and operations.

Jaclyn’s commitment shines in so many ways: she’s a weekend crew superstar, opening the center bright and early almost every Saturday and Sunday, mentoring new volunteers, supporting monthly brunches hosted by base leadership, and even helping staff with essential weekend shopping trips. She’s the ultimate baker extraordinaire, whipping up brownies for programs like Grati-Tuesday, base-wide events like Fall Fest, and even stepping up as a lead for the former Operation Birthday Cake to ensure service members feel celebrated.

Her leadership doesn’t stop there—Jaclyn has been a key point of contact for previous Taste of Home events and even coordinated with the Chapel to secure kitchen space to keep our services running smoothly while our kitchen underwent maintenance repairs. These efforts epitomize her problem-solving skills and initiative, proving her dedication to the USO mission time and time again.

Jaclyn’s hard work has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Mission Award in July 2024 and our former Core Value Awards for Collaboration, Gratitude, and Mission First.

Jaclyn, thank you for your unwavering passion, selflessness, and all that you do for our service members and the USO team. Please join us in celebrating her amazing achievements! #theUSO
