Fall 2019 Volunteer of the Quarter

Please join us in congratulating SSgt Joseph “Mighty Joe” Young as USO Incirlik and Rhein Main Area Volunteer of the Quarter for Fall ’19. Not only has he proven to everyone his nickname, he has achieved over 450 volunteer hours with USO Incirlik! Joe has been a #ForceBehindTheForces by adding a new organization to support the USO, the LGBTQ+ organization. By fostering this partnership, he advocated for more volunteers and support for Taco Tuesday and our Cookies, Milk, and a Movie programs, which have grown exponentially since their start. In addition to supporting programs throughout the week, Joe is a role model for others by always taking initiative in making sure that we have fresh coffee, full snack trays and engaging our service members by playing games and chatting with them.
