Q2 2025 Volunteer of the Quarter - Jason

Jason exemplifies the very best of what it means to be a USO volunteer. From his first shift, Jason jumped in with both feet—quickly becoming a trusted lead, a dependable closer, and a reliable presence during even the busiest or most challenging times. His willingness to step up wherever needed, whether it’s mentoring new volunteers, cooking for food events, or helping build a literal chair, has made him an invaluable part of the USO Incirlik team.

Jason’s leadership goes beyond logistics—he builds community. He’s trained many of our newest volunteers and creates a supportive, welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. His energy is steady and uplifting, and his commitment to service is evident in every interaction. Whether he’s behind the scenes prepping for Volunteer Night, taking incredible photos (even if he avoids being in them 😝), or ensuring Taste of Home runs smoothly, Jason brings both heart and excellence to the center. As Center Operations Manager Al Naebzadeh shared: “Jason has been the driving force behind the success of our Taste of Home program. From helping all private orgs when prepping, he brings creativity and heart to every moment. Service members volunteering to host a Taste of Home always tell us how helpful Jason is.”

One of Jason’s most standout contributions this quarter was during a morale drop to the Airmen of AMS. Recognizing the difficulty in reaching night shift personnel, Jason took the initiative to expand the drop to ensure 100% coverage—something never done before at Incirlik. His thoughtful problem-solving and dedication ensured that every service member felt seen and supported, regardless of schedule or location.

From Rookie of the Month in February to Volunteer of the Month in March, and now Volunteer of the Quarter, Jason’s upward trajectory is a reflection of his consistent excellence, reliability, and embodiment of USO values. He’s not just part of the team—he’s helped shape the standard.
