September 2022 Volunteer of the Month

2022 is the year of the volunteer, and there is not a better representation of that than our Volunteer of the Month, Michael Don! Stop by the USO at the top of the morning or late in the evening and you’ll find Mikey hard at work keeping the center clean and organized while providing a helpful hand to our guests. Not only does he work hard in the center, but also with our programs! He does not seem to even know the answer ‘no.’ He is at almost every program, providing a helping hand to our patrons. His nimble capabilities, great attitude and electric personality are one of the few reasons why he deserves such an award! Having joined at the end of August, Mikey has already been able to amass over 100 hours! He is well on his way to becoming a ‘hours all-star.’ Mikey exudes our core values while he volunteers whether that be respecting a patron, being innovative with center organization and collaborating with his fellow volunteers! Mikey’s belief’s in the USO core values shows throughout his capabilities, positive attitude and his actions. Please join us in congratulating Mikey on this achievement!
