Only after being in country a few days Rupert was introduced to the USO while attending the newcomers briefing weekly stop to our Franks for Service hot dog event. Something about that gourmet hotdog bar and hearing about our mission here at the IAB resonated with him enough that he was drawn in only a brief amount of time to become a valued member of our USO Incirlik team. Rupert who is fastidious about cleanliness can be found cleaning, organizing, and baking, all the while greeting our patrons with a warm and thoughtful attitude. He embodies our core values of Do the Right Thing, Excellence and Gratitude Rupert has positively impacted center operations in so many ways, it is impossible to choose one instance. Throughout the past five months we have been undermanned at our USO. Rupert has stepped up and has assisted us in ensuring the community does not experience a lack in USO operations. His reliability and consistency are proof of his dedication to our center and patrons. He also makes sure that his flight is aware of all our center programming events. Having joined at the beginning of June, Rupert has been able to amass over 200 volunteer hours! In addition to his work ethic, Rupert’s enthusiasm and commitment to our mission make him a joy to have as a volunteer, and we truly could not have fulfilled our mission at IAB without his essential helping hand. From your family at USO Incirlik, congratulations on being selected as our Q4 VOQ! #BeTheForce
