December 2022 Volunteer of the Month

Andrew Kehl is our final Volunteer of the Month for the year 2022! Andrew is one of our newer volunteers and has been an immense help to us over the holidays and with making sure the USO is impactfully reaching all service members, even those located in our expeditionary sites. Andrew is an extremely proactive and innovative volunteer with ideas on how Incirlik and Site K USO can continue to build a partnership to ensure that all service members are supported. Within his first month of volunteering, he has proven to be a leader and embodies the USO’s core values of accountability, responsibility, and respect. He ensured that all our holiday programs and goodies made it to Site K after weather prevented several attempted deliveries. Additionally, he helped to keep the USO Site K center and events running and has served as the unofficial photographer for many of the Site K photos you’ve been seeing across our social media sites. Just in December, he’s worked Site K’s gingerbread decorating contest, our holiday stocking distribution, bingo night, holiday bonfire, and New Year’s. Andrew has made a commitment to himself and his fellow service members to be a stable force in the USO. His reliability and consistency are proof of his dedication to the center and patrons. We are truly grateful for his enthusiasm and easy communication while working with us so far. Thanks and congratulations to Andrew!
