January 2023 Volunteer of the Month

We are excited to announce USO Incirlik’s Volunteer of the Month of January as SrA Leo Gonzales. When choosing a Volunteer of the Month, staff like to think of the 8 core values of the USO and how volunteers exhibit those. Leo has embraced the spirit of service and volunteerism over the past couple of months. He has collaborated on a lot of new programs at the USO including Unstable Unicorns night, Spa night, and Spanglish class. Leo shows up with a positive attitude that is committed to the mission and inspires and encourages others. Leo is incredibly consistent and has built trust among fellow volunteers, staff and the community of Incirlik as being a leader. USO staff has relied on his accountability during a period of transition and we couldn’t be more thankful for his presence. You can find him at the USO most weekdays cooking up an amazing meal or blasting some soft tunes.
