October 2025 Volunteer of the Month - Destiny

USO Incirlik is proud to recognize Destiny as our Volunteer of the Month for October 2025 for her incredible dedication, enthusiasm, and leadership. Since joining our team, Destiny has truly hit the ground running—immersing herself in nearly every facet of USO life. She is a proud member of our Fitness, Baking, and Game Night Committees, and quickly became a Lead Volunteer, helping to ensure smooth operations both in the center and beyond. Her proactive spirit and positive energy make her a joy to work with, and her consistent presence has made a lasting impact on the morale of our community.

Destiny is the kind of volunteer who always looks for ways to say “yes.” Whether it’s helping host events, coordinating morale drops, or stepping in to close the center (and it doesn’t hurt that she does so on nights where she can cheer on her favorite football team), she brings reliability and fun to everything she does. From helping lead our Halloween-themed Taste of Home to organizing morale drops for the Medical Group—and preparing to co-host another in November—she continues to set the bar high for engagement and initiative.

Her efforts were formally recognized early on when she received the Bronze Mission Award during her first month of service—a reflection of her outstanding commitment and teamwork. Destiny has since continued to embody the USO’s values of excellence, collaboration, and gratitude. Her attention to detail, love for building community, and genuine care for those around her have made her an invaluable part of our volunteer team.

Returning to Incirlik for a second tour, Destiny made it her mission to make this experience even more productive and meaningful—and she’s done exactly that. With over 120 volunteer hours already served, she’s become an integral part of our daily rhythm, always ready with a smile, a solution, or a baked treat.

We are incredibly grateful for Destiny’s energy, leadership, and drive. Her passion for service reminds us what the USO spirit is all about—showing up, lifting others, and making every moment count. #theUSO
