At USO Incirlik, we’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on one of our exceptional volunteers, Will! His dedication and enthusiasm have truly made a difference in the lives of our service members and fellow volunteers throughout February. He has showed up and illustrated service of a renaissance man, and we want to highlight a glimpse of his contributions.

Will is a… Gregarious Go-Getter! Since joining us this month, Will has accumulated almost 200 hours of service and became a Lead Volunteer, demonstrating his commitment and capabilities. His consistency and reliability in closing the center weekly has kept operations running smoothly, ensuring a welcoming environment for all who walk through our doors.

Will is a… Superbowl Superstar! He ensured our troops had a memorable Superbowl Sunday by keeping the center open all night, fostering camaraderie and fun. Will’s creative ideas and proactive approach to events illustrate our core values of innovation, collaboration, excellence, and doing the right thing. He brings people together, and we’re looking forward to him bringing back the Patch Fair and Chess Nights.

Will is a… Communicative Connector! His vulnerability and storytelling have fostered a sense of connection among our volunteers, creating a tight-knit community with new teammates. Whether it’s responding to group chats or lending a helping hand, Will is always there when his fellow volunteers or staff need support. His passion for our mission has inspired new volunteers to join our community, expanding our reach and impact.

Will is an… Enigmatic Energizer! With his infectious enthusiasm and genuine care for others, Will brightens every room he enters, spreading positivity and joy. He has been known to put his own spin on the JFK quote, saying, “Ask not what the USO can do for you, but what YOU can do for the USO.” Will embodies this ethos wholeheartedly, always ready to step up and make a positive impact.
