January 2026 Volunteer of the Month - Kendra

We are so excited to recognize Kendra as our Volunteer of the Month for January 2026! A true baking extraordinaire, Kendra consistently brings both heart and skill into everything she does. From Mario’s Midweek Munchies to Game Nights and Arts & Crafts, she is always ready to jump in, lend a hand, and make each event feel extra special with her intentional approach to volunteering.

One of Kendra’s standout accomplishments was organizing her flight to host our Thanksgiving Taste of Home, which was a huge undertaking and an incredible success. As if that weren’t impressive enough, she also received a Bronze Mission Award in December 2025, recognizing her outstanding dedication and service. And in true Kendra fashion, she even watched a video on how to play Spoons for the first time—and went on to win the Spoons Tournament. Icon behavior.

Beyond her many contributions, Kendra’s kindness and genuine interest in getting to know others truly set her apart. She brings a warm, lovely personality to the USO and is always willing to participate, connect, and support her peers both in and out of the center. We are so grateful for the care, energy, and intention she brings to our community—thank you, Kendra, for everything you do! #theUSO
